How to get it.

Beta 1 (FREE) is now available...  Follow the directions below to install it on your PocketPC.  The software will expire 60 days after you install it.  check back here or www.pocketyid.com for updates.

1. Remove any older installations of Pocket Hebrew by using the "Remove Programs" control panel on your device.

2. Download the "Cab" file that matches your device's CPU type, (ARM or MIPS).
   To determine your devices CPU type, go to "Settings", select the "System" tab at the bottom, then the "About" tool and look at the "Processor" line.
   ARM users, click here to download 'PocketHebrewBeta1_arm.CAB' (371KB).
   MIPS users, click here to download 'PocketHebrewBeta1_mips.CAB' (376KB).

3. Save the "Cab" file to your device using ActiveSync...  usually this will place it in the "My Documents" folder.

4. From "File Explorer" on your device, click on the saved "Cab" file.  This will automatically begin the install process.
   The installer will place a shortcut to the app in your "Programs" folder.  It does not create a shortcut on your "Start" menu by default (I find that intrusive).  If you wish to add a link to your "Start" menu,  use the "Menus" control panel from "Settings".
   The installer will also create a "Hebrew" folder in your "My Documents" folder containing several sample Hebrew files, and a 'credits' file with information on where the samples came from.

5. Send me feedback!  This is a beta, there are lots of known bugs, and I have only tried a limited number of machines, so please let me know if you have had any problems, or have any comments here gershon@msn.com.
